Welcome to VSMA

Welcome to the home of Volunteer State Model Aviators, AMA Charter Club 3961. We are a growing club with members of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Originally formed in Springfield, TN, VSMA now resides in Cedar Hill, about 15 minutes from Springfield and 5 minutes from exit 19 off I-24. We maintain a 500 foot by 100 foot grass runway with one of the largest, most wide open flying fields in Tennessee.

IMAA EVENT JUNE 19th

The Volunteer State Model Aviators and the IMAA Cane Ridge Hawks will host this event at the VSMA field.

This is a great venue for this event as it has an giant scale friendly 600X100' smooth grass runway with nice long approaches.

In addition, there is pit parking available and overnight camping is permitted.

Another nice feature is that the runway is laid out so that the sun is not a problem.  All in all, a great place to fly our large models.

You must be an IMAA member to fly in this event as it is IMAA sanctioned.

If you are not a member now, you can join that morning and fly.

Attached is a flyer with additional details.
